Digitaal weerstation TechnoLine WS 9138 — binnen-/buitenthermometer & hygrometer, grijs, batterijen AAA

The TechnoLine WS 9138 is a compact digital weather station in grey designed to monitor indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity. The unit combines a quartz clock with 12/24 hour time display and shows current readings alongside trend information for both thermometer and hygrometer values. With MIN/MAX memory and a weather forecast feature, it helps track changes in room and outdoor climate. The device is battery powered by AAA alkaline cells and has a table-standing form factor suitable for placement on shelves or desks. Its dimensions are 90 × 45 × 93 mm, making it unobtrusive in small living or office spaces.

Advantages

The WS 9138 provides simultaneous indoor and outdoor measurements with visible trend indicators, allowing clear comparison of conditions. MIN/MAX memory stores recent extremes to help identify fluctuations over time, while the built-in weather forecast gives a quick, at-a-glance indication of likely short-term changes. A low battery indicator and backlight enhance usability, and the quartz clock with selectable 12/24 hour format adds timekeeping convenience. The portable, battery-powered design enables flexible placement without the need for wiring.

How to use

Insert the required AAA alkaline batteries into the weather station and set the clock to the preferred 12 or 24 hour format. Place the unit on a stable surface indoors where it can receive the outdoor sensor signal if an external sensor is used or where the built-in receiver has clear reception. Read current temperature and humidity directly from the display; consult the MIN/MAX memory to review recent extremes. Use the backlight when visibility is low and observe the weather forecast and trend indicators to assess short-term changes.

Recommendations

For accurate indoor readings, position the device away from direct heat sources, air vents and direct sunlight. Replace batteries promptly when the low battery indicator appears to ensure continuous measurement and timekeeping. If the unit includes an external outdoor sensor, mount the sensor in a shaded, ventilated location protected from precipitation for reliable outdoor temperature and humidity readings.
