DIGITAL MATTER Oyster3 GPS-tracker 4G / LTE-M / NB-IoT met Bluetooth-gateway

Tracking high-value assets across vast, remote areas often means choosing between battery life, coverage, and ruggedness. The DIGITAL MATTER Oyster3 eliminates that compromise. This ultra-rugged GPS tracker harnesses 4G LTE-M and NB-IoT networks for deep indoor and underground coverage, while its integrated Bluetooth gateway turns it into a hub for nearby wireless sensors and tags. Powered by three user-replaceable AA batteries, it can run for up to a decade without maintenance, making it the ideal long-term asset tracking solution.

Who is it for

Fleet managers overseeing trailers, containers, or heavy equipment; logistics providers needing to track non-powered assets; rental companies monitoring tools and machinery; and any business that requires reliable, low-maintenance location tracking in harsh environments. It is equally suited for cold chain monitoring, construction site asset management, and theft recovery of high-value goods.

Main features

• 4G LTE-M / NB-IoT connectivity with 2G fallback for maximum coverage
• Bluetooth 5.0 gateway to connect wireless sensors, tags, and beacons

Tips

For maximum battery life, use lithium thionyl chloride batteries and set tracking intervals to match your asset's movement patterns. Pair the Oyster3 with Bluetooth temperature sensors to monitor cold chain compliance without opening containers. When mounting on metal surfaces, use the optional magnetic mount or ensure the internal antennas have a clear view of the sky for optimal GPS performance.
