DIGITUS breakout-kabel - 12 vezels OM4 LC/UPC-LC/UPC universele kleur zwart 100 m

The Digitus Pre-assembled Fiberglass Universal Breakout Cable Multi Mode OM4 12 Fibers LC/UPC LC/UPC 100m is a factory-terminated multimode OM4 fiber cable with 12 individually protected fibers and LC/UPC connectors on both ends. The cable is supplied pre-assembled and ready for immediate use, designed for high-speed data transmission in indoor and outdoor network installations. It features robust construction and high-quality components, and a measurement report is included with delivery.

Advantages

Pre-assembled fiber strands and factory-mounted high-quality LC/UPC plugs eliminate on-site splicing and reduce installation time. The breakout design provides individual mechanical protection for each fiber and robust overall cable construction for environments requiring enhanced mechanical protection. Standard lengths are available from stock, and the included measurement report removes the need for additional follow-up testing.

Suitable for

• High-speed data links in local area networks (LAN)
• Connection of network cabinets and rack-mounted patch panels
• Indoor and outdoor cabling routes where mechanical protection is required
• Installations requiring plug-and-play pre-terminated fiber solutions

How to use

Route the pre-assembled breakout cable along the planned path and secure it using appropriate cable management in racks or trays. Terminate the LC/UPC connectors into the corresponding patch panel or device ports; no on-site splicing is required. Use the two-sided insertion tool supplied for secure installation of the breakout fibers where applicable. Follow standard fiber handling practices to avoid bending below the minimum radius and to keep connectors clean.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, install the cable in compliance with local cabling standards, observe minimum bend radius specifications, and protect cable entries to cabinets from mechanical stress. Use the included measurement report to verify installation performance and keep connector endfaces clean with appropriate cleaning tools.
