The Digitus 4K DisplayPort Adapter Cable DP - HDMI Type A 3m connects devices with a DisplayPort output to HDMI displays, enabling video and audio transmission up to Ultra HD 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz. The 3 m cable has a DisplayPort plug with a locking mechanism and an HDMI Type A connector, gold-plated contacts and a shielded construction with aluminum housing and nylon mesh for improved durability and signal integrity. No external power supply is required.

Advantages

The adapter cable supports 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) at 30 Hz and is compatible with HDCP for protected audio/video transmission. The DisplayPort locking mechanism prevents accidental disconnection, gold-plated contacts reduce contact resistance, and triple braiding provides effective shielding against interference. The cable is plug-and-play and does not need an external power source.

Recommendations

For stable 4K output, ensure your source device supports DisplayPort-to-HDMI conversion at 3840 x 2160@30 Hz and enable HDCP if required by the display. Avoid tight bends near the connectors and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources to maintain signal quality.
