DisplayPort-kabel ROLINE DP-DVI (24+1) LSOH M/M 5 m

The ROLINE DisplayPort to DVI cable (24+1) LSOH M/M 5 m connects a DisplayPort source to a DVI display for unidirectional digital video transmission. It is designed primarily for use between a computer or laptop and a monitor, or between a computer and home-theater equipment. The cable is 5 meters long, black in colour, and made with Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSOH) material for improved safety in enclosed spaces.

Advantages

This DisplayPort to DVI cable supports the DisplayPort 1.1 specification and provides a reliable single-direction link from a DisplayPort-equipped source (for example a graphics card) to a DVI display. The LSOH jacket reduces smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire, and the 24+1 connector pin configuration ensures compatibility with standard DVI displays. The cable offers a practical length of 5 m for desktop and meeting-room setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or laptop with a DisplayPort output to a DVI monitor
• Linking projectors or older displays that have DVI input
• Office workstations and conference rooms where a 5 m cable run is required

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Connector 1: DisplayPort (male)
• Connector 2: DVI (male), 24+1
• Standard: Compliant with DisplayPort v1.1
• Jacket material: LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort (DP) plug to the video output of the source device such as a PC graphics card or laptop. Plug the DVI end into the display device with a DVI input. Note that this cable works in one direction only: the DisplayPort end must be connected to the source and the DVI end to the display. After connection, set the output resolution and refresh rate on the source device to match the capabilities of the DVI display.

Recommendations

Use this cable when you need to connect a DisplayPort-equipped source to a DVI-only display. Avoid attempting to use it in reverse (DVI source to DisplayPort monitor). For best signal quality, keep cable runs neat, avoid sharp bends, and ensure connectors are fully seated.
