DisplayPort-kabel Sharkoon DisplayPort 1.3, 4K-ondersteuning, 2 m

The Sharkoon DisplayPort 1.3 cable, 2 m provides a reliable digital connection between computers, laptops and compatible monitors. It supports DisplayPort 1.3 specifications and enables transmission of high-resolution video up to 4K as well as multi-channel audio over a single cable. With a two-metre length, this cable offers flexible placement for desktop setups, gaming stations and professional workspaces while maintaining signal integrity for stable display performance.

Advantages

The cable supports DisplayPort 1.3 bandwidth requirements to deliver 4K video at common refresh rates and preserves audio channels without the need for separate cabling. Its 2 m length balances reach and cable management, reducing the need for extensions. Designed for digital signal transmission, the connector shape and construction provide a secure fit to DisplayPort ports, minimising accidental disconnects during use.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop to a 4K monitor
• High-resolution video editing and colour-accurate work
• Gaming setups requiring stable 4K output
• Office workstations with external displays

• Interface: DisplayPort 1.3 compatible
• Maximum supported resolution: 4K (3840 × 2160) at standard refresh rates
• Length: 2 metres
• Signal type: Digital video and multi-channel audio
• Connector type: Standard DisplayPort plugs

How to use

Connect one end of the Sharkoon DisplayPort 1.3 cable to the DisplayPort output on your PC or laptop and the other end to the DisplayPort input on your monitor. Ensure both devices are powered and set the monitor input to DisplayPort if necessary. Adjust display resolution and refresh rate in your operating system or graphics driver settings to match the monitor's capabilities. For best results, check that graphics drivers and firmware are up to date.

Recommendations

Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable to maintain signal integrity. For long-term installations, route the cable to prevent strain on connectors and keep it away from large sources of electromagnetic interference. When using high refresh rates or advanced colour formats, confirm both the source device and the display support the desired settings.
