DisplayPort-kabel ShiverPeaks 77495, 20-polig, 5 m lengte

DisplayPort cable ShiverPeaks 77495, 20-pin, 5 m length is a high‑capacity digital connection cable for transmitting both video and audio between devices that support the DisplayPort interface. With a five‑meter length it enables flexible placement of monitors, PCs, graphics cards and docking stations while maintaining a single-cable link for high‑resolution displays and multichannel audio. The cable is intended for direct device-to-device connections where a reliable DisplayPort signal is required.

Advantages

The 20‑pin DisplayPort design supports high‑bandwidth digital video and audio transmission over a single cable, reducing cable clutter and simplifying setup. The 5 m length provides extended reach for desktop arrangements, presentation rooms or multi‑monitor workstations without requiring adapters or additional extenders. The cable construction focuses on signal integrity to minimize interference and preserve image and sound quality over the full length.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops with DisplayPort output to external monitors
• Setting up extended desktop or multi‑monitor workstations
• Connecting docking stations or graphics cards to displays
• Video presentations in meeting rooms where longer cable runs are needed

Key specifications

• Connector type: 20‑pin DisplayPort male to DisplayPort male
• Cable length: 5 meters
• Signal type: digital video and audio
• Supported resolutions: suitable for high‑resolution displays (up to capabilities of connected devices)
• Use case: direct device-to-device display connections

How to use

Connect one end of the DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort output on your source device (PC, laptop or docking station) and the other end to the DisplayPort input on your monitor or display. Ensure both devices are powered on and set the correct input source on the monitor. For multi‑monitor setups, connect each display to the appropriate output on the graphics card or docking station and configure the display settings in your operating system to extend or duplicate the desktop as needed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, route the cable away from large sources of electromagnetic interference and avoid tight bends or kinks. Verify that connected devices support the desired resolution and refresh rate; use device display settings to select appropriate output parameters. If long runs or complex installations are required beyond standard DisplayPort capabilities, consider verifying compatibility with active repeaters or certified extenders.
