DisplayPort-kabel ShiverPeaks BS30-15495 40 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS30-15495 DisplayPort cable is a 40 m black cable engineered for high-definition audio and video transmission between DisplayPort-equipped devices. With a 4.8 mm diameter construction, the cable balances flexibility and mechanical integrity to span longer distances while maintaining signal quality. It is suitable for connecting monitors, projectors and other compatible display sources where a long, single-cable run is required.

Advantages

The 40 m length allows placement of displays and sources at a distance without intermediate signal converters, while the DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort connectors support digital video and multi-channel audio. The cable’s slim 4.8 mm diameter improves routing through cable channels and conduits and reduces weight in suspended installations. Its black outer jacket provides a neutral aesthetic that integrates into professional and home environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or workstations to distant monitors
• Long-reach connections in conference rooms and lecture halls
• Linking media players or PCs to projectors for presentations
• Fixed AV installations where a single continuous cable run is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable length: 40 m
• Connector type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Cable diameter: 4.8 mm
• Colour: Black
• Supports digital video and multi-channel audio transmission

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device and the other to the display device, ensuring both connectors are fully seated. Route the cable along the intended path, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges to prevent damage to the 4.8 mm conductor assembly. For optimal signal integrity, avoid kinking the cable and keep it away from strong electromagnetic interference sources such as large transformers or unshielded power runs.

Recommendations

For stable long-distance performance, verify that both connected devices support DisplayPort signaling at the required resolution and refresh rate. When installing in permanent or ceiling-mounted setups, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties and allow service loops at endpoints to facilitate future maintenance.
