DisplayPort-kabel ShiverPeaks BS30-15755 75 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS30-15755 is a 75 m DisplayPort cable engineered for long-distance digital video and audio transmission between compatible devices. With DisplayPort connectors at both ends and a 4.8 mm diameter jacket, this cable is designed to deliver reliable signal continuity for installations that require extended reach, such as conference rooms, auditoriums, or control centers. The black outer finish provides a discreet appearance for permanent or temporary setups.

Advantages

The cable supports high-definition video and multichannel audio over a single connector type, simplifying connections between PCs, graphics cards, monitors, and projectors. Its 75 m length reduces the need for signal extenders in many layouts, while the 4.8 mm diameter balances flexibility with mechanical protection. Both ends use DisplayPort connectors to maintain compatibility with devices that accept native DisplayPort inputs and outputs.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop workstations or servers to distant monitors or video walls
• AV installations in conference rooms, lecture halls, and training facilities
• Permanent cabling runs in control rooms or broadcast environments
• Temporary event setups where long, single-cable runs are required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 75 m
• Connector type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Cable diameter: 4.8 mm
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device (for example a PC or media player) and the other DisplayPort connector to the display device (monitor, projector or video processor). Ensure connectors are fully seated and secured where applicable. For long runs, route the cable away from large power bundles and sources of electromagnetic interference to preserve signal quality. If using in a fixed installation, secure the cable along its path with appropriate clips or conduit to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance on long runs, verify device compatibility with the intended display resolution and refresh rate, and test the connection at the required settings before final installation. If you experience signal degradation at high resolutions or longer distances, consider using active DisplayPort extenders or signal boosters designed for your resolution and refresh-rate requirements.
