DisplayPort-kabel ShiverPeaks BS30-16085 15 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS30-16085 DisplayPort cable is a 15 m black cable with DisplayPort connectors at both ends, designed for reliable digital video transmission between compatible devices. With a 4.8 mm diameter and a minimum bend radius of 2 cm, the cable balances flexibility and mechanical protection for extended runs where stable image and signal quality are required. Manufactured in Germany, the cable is intended for installations that need a longer reach without intermediate signal converters.

Advantages

This DisplayPort cable provides a direct digital link between source and display with minimal signal loss over a 15 m length. The slim 4.8 mm profile makes routing through cable channels and behind equipment simpler, while the 2 cm minimum bend radius allows flexible positioning without compromising conductor integrity. Dual DisplayPort connectors ensure compatibility with devices that support the DisplayPort interface. Production in Germany indicates adherence to manufacturing and quality control standards.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or workstations to monitors in office or studio environments
• Long-reach connections for meeting rooms and presentation setups
• Linking media players or graphics sources to projectors or large displays
• Home setups where the display and source are located at a distance

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connector type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Colour: Black
• Outer diameter: 4.8 mm
• Minimum bend radius: 2 cm
• Manufactured in: Germany

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device (for example a PC graphics card or media player) and the other DisplayPort connector to the display device (monitor, projector or compatible display). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages where applicable. Route the cable along a path that avoids sharp edges and excessive tension; respect the specified minimum bend radius of 2 cm to maintain signal performance. If devices support different DisplayPort versions, verify compatibility and set display resolution and refresh rate in the source device settings.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid running the cable parallel to high-power electrical lines to reduce the chance of interference. Use strain relief at connection points and secure the cable with clips or ties that do not compress the cable below its 4.8 mm diameter. When using long runs, confirm display settings and test the connection at the intended resolution and refresh rate before final installation.
