Dockingstation PureLink Mediahub2 USB-C M2-ENC07-9941 met 4K-HDMI-uitgang

The PureLink Mediahub2 USB-C M2-ENC07-9941 docking station is a compact connectivity hub designed for laptops and devices with USB-C ports. It provides a single-cable solution to extend display capabilities with a 4K HDMI output while preserving space on the desk. The unit supports high-resolution video output suitable for presentations, home office setups and multi-display workflows, and integrates additional ports to connect peripherals and external storage without repeatedly plugging devices into the host computer.

Advantages

The Mediahub2 delivers 4K HDMI video output over a USB-C connection, allowing clear, detailed image reproduction on external monitors and TVs. Its compact form factor reduces cable clutter and keeps a portable footprint for mobile professionals. By consolidating video and peripheral connections through one hub, it simplifies setup and minimizes the number of separate adapters required. The device is compatible with a wide range of USB-C equipped laptops and tablets and is suitable for both fixed desk arrangements and on-the-go use.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop to an external 4K monitor or TV for presentations
• Extending desktop space for productivity tasks such as document editing and spreadsheets
• Home office setups that require a compact multiport hub
• Temporary workstations and meeting rooms where quick device hookup is needed

Key specifications

• Input: USB-C host connection for video and data transmission
• Video output: HDMI supporting up to 4K resolution
• Form factor: compact, portable hub designed for desktop and mobile use
• Compatibility: works with USB-C equipped laptops and tablets that support video output over USB-C

How to use

Connect the docking station to the host device using the USB-C cable provided or attached, then connect an external monitor or TV to the HDMI output. After physical connections are made, set the display preferences on the host computer to extend or mirror the screen as required. Attach any additional peripherals such as external drives, keyboard or mouse to the remaining ports on the hub. No complex configuration is typically required; the host operating system will detect the external display and connected devices.

Recommendations

Use a USB-C port on the host device that supports video output (DisplayPort Alt Mode) to ensure proper 4K HDMI functionality. For stable high-resolution output, use high-quality HDMI cables and verify display settings on the connected monitor. If multiple peripherals are connected, ensure the host provides sufficient power and consider using a power-delivery capable USB-C port or separate power source if available.
