Dockingstation QOLTEC 52366 — dual M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD, USB-C 20Gb/s, ondersteunt tot 2×8TB, offline klonen

QOLTEC 52366 is a dual-bay docking station designed for M.2 NVMe PCIe SSDs, providing high-speed external access via a USB-C connection at up to 20 Gb/s. The unit accommodates two M.2 NVMe drives and supports capacities up to 8 TB per slot as specified, enabling fast file transfers, direct access to NVMe storage, and standalone operations such as offline cloning. Compact and tool-free in design, this docking station is intended for tasks that require rapid data migration, backups, or temporary external storage without the need to install drives inside a computer.

Advantages

The docking station supports two M.2 NVMe PCIe SSDs simultaneously, allowing parallel access to high-performance storage through a single USB-C 20 Gb/s link. It provides offline cloning functionality so you can duplicate one drive to another without connecting to a PC. Support for drives up to 8 TB per bay makes it suitable for large-capacity SSDs, while plug-and-play USB-C connectivity offers straightforward setup and fast transfer speeds for compatible hosts.

How to use

Insert two compatible M.2 NVMe PCIe SSDs into the docking slots following the device’s guide to ensure correct orientation and seating. Connect the docking station to a host computer using a USB-C cable to access drives as external storage at high transfer speeds; the host will recognize each NVMe drive individually. To perform offline cloning, power on the docking station and use the dedicated cloning function according to the product instructions — the cloning process operates without a PC connected. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for safe drive insertion and removal.

Recommendations

Use high-quality USB-C cables and a compatible host port that supports the device’s 20 Gb/s link to achieve optimal transfer rates. For cloning operations, ensure both source and target drives have sufficient free space or compatible partitioning. Handle M.2 NVMe SSDs with care to avoid electrostatic damage and perform backups of important data before cloning or migrating drives.
