Its small form factor allows for discreet installation while preserving the ability to capture fine detail for identification and incident review.

Advantages

The camera combines a high-resolution 5 MP sensor with a fixed 4 mm lens to produce sharp images across a moderate field of view, making it easier to identify faces and license plates at typical indoor distances. Its compact dome housing reduces visual intrusion and simplifies mounting on ceilings or under eaves. The device is engineered to operate reliably in sheltered outdoor conditions and indoor environments, offering consistent image quality and straightforward integration into existing surveillance setups.

• Residential monitoring for entrances, hallways and shared spaces
• Sheltered outdoor locations such as covered porches and parking canopies
• Complementary coverage in multi-camera systems for incident review

• Lens: fixed 4 mm focal length
• Form factor: compact dome housing suitable for ceiling or wall mounting
• Recommended placement: indoor and sheltered outdoor use
• Primary use: video surveillance and incident documentation

How to use

Mount the camera on a stable surface such as a ceiling, wall or under a covered eave at a height and angle that capture the target area. Connect the device to your recording and monitoring equipment following the manufacturer’s wiring and network instructions. Adjust the camera orientation and focus area, then verify the field of view on your monitoring station to ensure important zones are covered. Configure recording, motion detection and retention settings in the recorder or video management system according to your operational needs.

Recommendations

Place the camera at a height that balances coverage and identification detail — typically 2.5–4 meters for indoor ceilings — and avoid direct exposure to unprotected weather. Combine with appropriate lighting for consistent image quality in low-light conditions, and integrate the camera into a networked recording system with regular backups and maintenance checks.
