Draadborstelwiel KWB 719730 11,5 cm

Wire wheel KWB 719730 with a diameter of 11.5 cm and a shank diameter of 1.4 cm. The brush is made with HSS steel wire in a twist-knot design and is intended for aggressive cleaning tasks such as removing rust, paint and other surface coatings, welding marks, scale and burrs from metal and stone surfaces. Supplied in a display box, it is suitable for working on narrow edges, frames and gratings.

Advantages

The HSS steel wire and twist-knot construction provide high cutting aggressiveness and mechanical strength for heavy-duty cleaning. The 11.5 cm diameter gives a balance between coverage and access to confined areas, while the 1.4 cm shank fits standard M14 tool holders. The design ensures effective removal of rust, paint, welding spatter and scale without excessive loss of brush life when used as intended.

How to use

Fit the wire wheel onto a grinder or rotary tool with an M14 holder and ensure the tool is switched off while mounting. Secure the brush according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions and check that the wheel runs true before use. Operate at the recommended speed for the brush and apply steady, moderate pressure to avoid excessive wear or damage to the workpiece. Move the brush evenly across the surface until the desired level of cleaning or preparation is achieved.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye protection, gloves, and a dust mask). Do not exceed the maximum operating speed specified by the tool; avoid side pressure on the brush beyond the intended application to preserve wire integrity and reduce the risk of wire throw.
