Draadconnector Telegärtner 100023209 RJ-45/11/12 zilver female

The Telegärtner 100023209 wire connector is a female coupler designed to join RJ-45, RJ-11 and RJ-12 terminated cables. Finished in silver, the compact metal housing provides a professional appearance while maintaining consistent electrical contact for Ethernet, telephone and low-speed serial connections. Manufactured in Germany, the connector is engineered for repeatable mating cycles and stable signal transmission in patch panels, wall mounts and inline cable extensions.

Advantages

This Telegärtner female connector offers robust mechanical construction and corrosion-resistant finish to support long-term installations. Its compatibility with RJ-45, RJ-11 and RJ-12 terminations allows flexible use across network and telephony cabling. The device is designed to minimize insertion loss and contact resistance, contributing to reliable data transfer and clear voice signals. The compact silver housing also facilitates tidy cable runs and discreet placement in visible installations.

Suitable for

• Extending or joining Ethernet patch cables (RJ-45)
• Connecting telephone lines and devices (RJ-11/RJ-12)
• Inline repairs or temporary cable extensions in office and home networks
• Use in patch panels, wall-mounted faceplates or network junctions

Key specifications

• Connector type: female coupler for 8P8C (RJ-45) and 6P6C/6P4C (RJ-11/RJ-12) terminations
• Finish: silver-colored metal housing with corrosion-resistant surface
• Application: data and voice transmission; suitable for Ethernet and telephone cabling
• Mechanical durability: designed for multiple mating cycles and secure cable retention
• Mounting: inline coupler for joining two cable ends; compact form factor for confined spaces

How to use

Align each terminated cable plug with the corresponding jack on the female coupler and insert until it latches audibly. Ensure cables are fully seated to achieve proper electrical contact and avoid partial connections. For installations in patch panels or wall plates, place the coupler into the panel opening or mount it according to the panel’s specifications. When removing, depress the plug latch and withdraw straight to prevent damage to the plug or coupler contacts. Verify connectivity with a cable tester after installation to confirm signal integrity.

Recommendations

Use the Telegärtner silver female connector in environments where reliable, low-loss connections are required. Avoid exposure to prolonged moisture or corrosive chemicals; for outdoor or harsh environments, select appropriately rated enclosures or sealed connectors. Regularly inspect frequently mated connections for wear and replace the coupler if contact resistance increases or mechanical latching becomes unreliable.
