Draadloze 4G-router Beafon MR2 CAT 4 wit — MR2_EU001W

The Beafon MR2 CAT 4 wireless router in white provides mobile broadband connectivity over LTE networks and distributes internet access to local devices via Wi‑Fi and Ethernet. Designed for home and small office use, the device accepts a SIM card for continuous internet access and manages network functions such as DHCP, NAT and firewall. The compact white enclosure houses a CAT 4 modem, Wi‑Fi radio and standard routing features to create a reliable local network where fixed broadband is unavailable or as a backup connection.

Advantages

The router supports CAT 4 LTE throughput for stable mobile data performance and offers Wi‑Fi distribution for multiple client devices simultaneously. It integrates basic router functions—DHCP, NAT and firewall—so devices on the local network receive IP addresses automatically and benefit from address translation and basic packet filtering. Its plug‑and‑play SIM card setup simplifies initial configuration, and the compact white design fits unobtrusively in home or office environments.

Suitable for

• Home internet connectivity where fixed-line broadband is unavailable or intermittent
• Small offices requiring a simple mobile broadband solution
• Temporary sites, retail kiosks or mobile workstations needing quick online access
• Failover or backup internet connection for critical devices

Key specifications

• Mobile network: LTE CAT 4 data class
• Wireless: Wi‑Fi access point for multiple client connections
• Local networking: DHCP server and NAT support
• Security: built‑in firewall functions for basic packet filtering
• SIM‑based internet access for continuous mobile connectivity

How to use

Install an active SIM card with a mobile data plan into the router and power the unit. Access the router’s web interface or mobile setup page to configure network name (SSID), wireless password and any desired DHCP or firewall settings. Connect computers, smartphones or other devices to the router’s Wi‑Fi network or to available Ethernet ports if present. Monitor connection status and signal strength through the router interface and adjust placement for optimal LTE reception.

Recommendations

Place the router near a window or higher location to improve LTE signal reception; avoid enclosing it in metal cabinets. Use the device as a primary connection where mobile broadband meets performance needs or as a backup to fixed broadband. For networks with multiple users, secure the Wi‑Fi with WPA2/WPA3 where supported and regularly update the router firmware following the manufacturer’s instructions.
