Draadverbinder ShiverPeaks BS57000-M zilver stekker/bus recht

The ShiverPeaks BS57000-M Silver Male/Female Straight wire connector is a straight-form audio/video connector finished in silver and designed for reliable male-to-female connections. It is intended for inline coupling where a compact, straight connection is required and provides a consistent conductive path for signal transmission. The connector's straight geometry simplifies installation in tight runs and panels where right-angle adapters would be impractical.

Advantages

The silver finish offers good conductivity and corrosion resistance compared with untreated surfaces, supporting stable signal transfer. The male/female straight configuration enables direct mating without additional adapters, reducing insertion loss and mechanical complexity. Its compact straight profile is suitable for cramped installations and helps maintain cable alignment for consistent contact pressure and long-term reliability.

Suitable for

• Inline coupling of audio and video cables where a straight male-to-female connection is required
• Panel feedthroughs and rack installations with limited depth
• Repair or extension of existing cable assemblies without changing cable routing

Key specifications

• Connector orientation: straight male to female
• Finish: silver-coloured conductive plating
• Application category: audio & video cable connections
• Form factor: inline straight coupler for signal continuity

How to use

Align the male and female ends, ensuring the connector shells are clean and free of debris, then insert fully until a secure mechanical and electrical engagement is felt. For panel installations, guide the connector straight into the mating receptacle without applying lateral force to avoid bending contact elements. When extending cable runs, verify signal continuity and, if necessary, test the connection with appropriate audio/video test equipment to confirm correct operation.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid excessive twisting or bending near the connector interface and periodically inspect the silver finish for tarnish or wear. Use in environments within the recommended temperature and humidity ranges for your cabling system, and replace connectors that show signs of contact degradation to maintain signal quality.
