Draadverbinder ShiverPeaks BS57114-M 3,5 mm roestvrij staal bus/bus

The ShiverPeaks BS57114-M 3.5 mm Stainless Steel Female/Female wire connector is a compact inline coupling designed to join two 3.5 mm male audio plugs. Constructed from stainless steel, the connector provides a corrosion-resistant housing and a stable mechanical connection for audio and low-voltage signal lines. Its female-to-female configuration enables quick extension or repair of 3.5 mm headphone, line-level, and auxiliary cables while preserving signal continuity.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction offers mechanical strength and resistance to environmental corrosion, reducing risk of rust and wear in everyday use. The female/female design simplifies extension of existing 3.5 mm cables without soldering or specialized tools. Its compact inline form factor minimizes additional bulk and keeps cable routing tidy. The connector is compatible with standard 3.5 mm male plugs and maintains physical alignment for secure contact.

Suitable for

• Extending headphone cables or auxiliary audio leads
• Repairing damaged 3.5 mm audio cables without soldering
• Connecting portable audio players, smartphones, and car aux inputs
• Temporary or permanent inline connections in audio setups

Key specifications

• Connector type: 3.5 mm female to 3.5 mm female
• Material: stainless steel housing
• Configuration: inline coupling (female/female)
• Compatibility: standard 3.5 mm TRS and TRRS male plugs (mechanical compatibility)
• Finish: stainless steel colour

How to use

To use the ShiverPeaks BS57114-M connector, align the male 3.5 mm plug of each cable with the connector openings and insert until a secure mechanical fit is achieved. For TRS or TRRS plugs, ensure correct seating to maintain audio channels and microphone/remote functionality if present. For a stable connection, avoid placing strain on the joint by routing cables so the connector is not under tension. No tools or soldering are required for installation.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep contact surfaces clean and avoid exposure to strong corrosive agents. Use the connector in environments within normal indoor and automotive conditions; avoid prolonged submersion or continuous exposure to salt spray. When using with devices that require microphone or remote control support, verify full functionality after connection.
