Draagbare koelbox Curver 262271 — 33 L inhoud, lila, geïsoleerde reiskoelbox

The Curver portable cooler box 262271 is a 33 L insulated travel cooler in a purple finish designed for short trips, picnics and car journeys. The unit provides a lightweight, rigid storage container that helps slow the rise of temperature for food and beverages without requiring electricity. Its compact rectangular shape and integrated handle make it suitable for carrying and placing in vehicles or outdoor settings.

Advantages

This insulated travel cooler offers a moderate 33 litre capacity that fits multiple bottles, cans and food containers while remaining easy to transport. The insulated walls reduce heat transfer to retain cooler conditions for several hours, and the plain interior surface is straightforward to wipe clean after use. The rigid construction protects contents from crushing and keeps stacked items stable during transport.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This cooler relies on passive insulation and does not actively cool; it is not suitable when refrigerated temperatures must be maintained for long periods or for transporting highly perishable items over many hours. For extended trips or medical transport that require constant low temperatures, an active thermoelectric or compressor cooler would be more appropriate.

How to use

Before use, pre-chill the cooler by placing ice packs or frozen bottles inside for 15–30 minutes. Pack cold items together and use a layer of ice packs or reusable cold blocks to prolong cooling. Keep the lid closed as much as possible to maintain internal temperature. After use, empty any melted water, rinse the interior with mild soap and water, and allow it to dry fully with the lid open before storage.

Recommendations

For best performance, pre-freeze bottles or use quality ice packs, load coldest items at the bottom, and avoid frequent opening during excursions. Clean and dry the cooler between uses to maintain hygiene and insulation effectiveness.
