Draagbare mono Bluetooth-luidspreker Xiaomi Bluetooth Speaker Essential – 5 W RMS, USB-C, 1000-mAh-accu, tot 10 uur afspelen, zwart

The Xiaomi Bluetooth Speaker Essential is a compact mono portable speaker with a 5 W RMS full-range driver and a large passive radiator for improved bass response. It has a rounded fabric-covered body, USB-C charging and a built-in 1000 mAh battery that provides up to 10 hours of playback. The speaker offers both wired and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, a built-in microphone and IP66 dust and water resistance for reliable outdoor use.

Advantages

The speaker combines a small, lightweight body with a 5 W output and a passive radiator to deliver fuller sound than typical pocket speakers. Its rounded design with refined fabric mesh is durable for outdoor use and the IP66 rating helps it withstand dust and light rain. Stereo pairing capability enables a wider, more immersive soundstage when two units are used together.

Suitable for

• Listening to music outdoors or in small gatherings
• Use with smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth or wired connection
• Portable background audio for picnics, walks or short trips

When it may not be suitable

This mono 5 W speaker is intended for personal and small-group listening rather than large rooms or parties that require high volume and deep bass. Users who need very long battery life, professional audio fidelity, or powerful low-frequency output may find this model limited.

How to use

Charge the speaker using the USB-C port until fully charged. Turn on the speaker and enable Bluetooth on your phone or connect via a wired input if available. Pair the device in your phone’s Bluetooth settings, then play audio from your source. For stereo sound, pair two compatible units following the manufacturer’s pairing procedure. Keep the speaker clean and dry when possible; although rated IP66, avoid prolonged submersion.

What to consider before purchase

• Mono speaker with 5 W output — suitable for personal and small-group use
• Battery life up to 10 hours depending on volume and usage
• IP66 protection for dust and light rain, not for full immersion
• USB-C charging and built-in microphone for calls
• Weight and compact size for portability

Recommendations

For best results outdoors, place the speaker on a stable surface and keep volume at moderate levels to conserve battery. Pair two units if you need a wider stereo image; charge fully before extended outings and avoid exposing the speaker to heavy rain or submersion despite its IP66 rating.
