The GARDENA Micro-Drip-Irrigation Terrace Set (Drip irrigation system Gardena 13400-20) is a ready-to-use drip irrigation solution for patios and terraces, designed for up to 30 potted plants or plant troughs. The set includes a Master Unit 1000 that reduces and regulates water pressure to approximately 1.5 bar and distributes water evenly into the system. All necessary pipes, connectors and a variety of drip heads are included to allow individual adjustment of water flow for plants with different requirements.

Advantages

The set is immediately usable and contains all components required for water-saving drip irrigation of individual potted plants, tubs or troughs. Patented Quick & Easy connection technology for 13 mm components and the Easy & Flexible connection technique for 4.6 mm components enable simple assembly, flexible extension and repeated reuse without damage. Adjustable Endline Drip Heads and regulation valves allow precise flow control from 0 to 15 l/h for differing plant needs. The system supports expansion with additional Micro-Drip components and irrigation controllers.

How to use

Insert the required drip heads at the pipe ends or inline positions and set the flow with the adjustable Endline Drip Heads or regulation valves according to each plant's needs. The Quick & Easy and Easy & Flexible connections make it possible to connect, rearrange or detach components quickly. A cleaning needle is supplied for occasional clearing of nozzles.

Recommendations

For best results, plan the pipe layout before assembly, group plants with similar water needs together where possible, and test each drip head flow after installation. Supplement the starter set with additional GARDENA Micro-Drip components or an irrigation controller (e.g., Water Control Flex) for automated scheduling and further water savings.
