DVI-monitorkabel ROLINE GOLD 5m model 11.04.5514

The ROLINE GOLD DVI Monitor Cable ROLINE GOLD 5m Model 11.04.5514 is a 5-metre DVI-D (24+1) cable designed to transmit high-quality digital video between compatible source devices and displays. Its dual-link DVI configuration supports higher resolutions and stable frame rates compared with single-link variants, making it suitable for larger monitors and professional displays. The cable is finished in black with gold-plated connector contacts to improve signal transfer and reduce corrosion over time.

Advantages

This DVI-D cable provides a dual-link connection that enables higher bandwidth video transmission for improved image detail and consistent performance at greater resolutions. Gold-plated contacts enhance conductivity and resist oxidation, while the 5 m length allows flexible placement of monitors, projectors or other display devices within a workspace. The cable construction is designed for dependable long-term use in both home and office environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or graphics cards to DVI-equipped monitors
• Linking laptops or media players with DVI output to projectors or displays
• Use in multimedia workstations, control rooms or conference rooms
• Temporary or permanent AV setups where a 5 m cable run is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector type: DVI-D (24+1) on both ends
• Link type: Dual-link DVI for higher bandwidth video
• Contact plating: Gold-plated connector contacts
• Colour: Black cable with gold-coloured contacts

How to use

Ensure both the source device and the display have compatible DVI-D ports before connecting. Power off devices if recommended by the device manufacturers, then firmly insert each DVI-D connector into the corresponding port and tighten the thumb screws to secure the connection. After connections are made, power on the devices and select the DVI input on the display if necessary. Adjust display resolution and refresh rate in the operating system or graphics driver to match the capabilities of the monitor for optimal image quality.

Recommendations

Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable; route it away from sources of electromagnetic interference such as large power supplies or unshielded network cabling to maintain signal integrity. For very high resolutions or long runs beyond 5 m, verify that source and display hardware support the required bandwidth or consider alternative signal extenders.
