Displex PRIVACY SAFE afneembaar 2-weg privacyfilter voor desktopmonitor 22" (16:10)

The Displex PRIVACY SAFE removable 2-way privacy filter for 22" 16:10 monitors protects the screen from scratches and limits the viewing angle to ±30° so that the display appears dark from the side. The filter attaches and detaches quickly using tested neodymium magnets and supports GDPR-related privacy needs. Dual Surface Technology provides a matt anti-reflective side to reduce glare and fingerprints and a glossy side for clearer view and stronger colour reproduction. An integrated blue light filter reduces short-wave blue light to help relieve eye strain and lower the risk of blue-light related sleep disturbance.

Advantages

The privacy filter combines scratch protection with a 2-way privacy function that narrows the visible field to about 60° and keeps sensitive content invisible from side angles. Magnetic mounting allows fast, tool-free removal and reattachment, while the neodymium magnets are fully tested for safe use on monitors. The dual-surface finish lets you choose between anti-reflective matte use in bright environments and a glossy surface for improved colour and clarity in dimmer conditions. The built-in blue light filter provides additional eye comfort during extended use. The filter has a surface hardness of 5H and is sized for 22" displays with a 16:10 aspect ratio.

Suitable for

• Office work with sensitive or confidential information
• Home use where side viewing should be restricted
• Public spaces such as cafés, open-plan offices, or transit environments

How to use

Choose the preferred surface (matte for anti-glare, glossy for colour brilliance) and align the filter to the monitor. Attach the filter using the magnetic frame so it sits flush on the screen; magnets allow easy removal for cleaning or when full viewing angle is needed. Clean the monitor and filter surfaces with a soft, lint-free cloth and manufacturer-recommended cleaning agent to avoid damaging the filter or screen. Store the filter flat or in its protective sleeve when not in use.

Recommendations

For best results, use the matte side in bright, reflective environments and the glossy side in lower-light indoor settings. Regularly clean both the screen and filter with a microfiber cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners. If you need to show the screen to others, remove the filter temporarily using the magnetic attachment.
