Secure the unit using a suitable mount or strap so it remains stable and oriented toward the subject. Insert a compatible memory card and connect the chosen power source. Configure recording settings according to the environment: choose continuous, scheduled or motion-activated recording if available, and verify frame rate and resolution are set to 1080p for best detail. Periodically check the camera alignment, clean the lens if necessary and replace or recharge the power source to ensure uninterrupted operation.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term observation, install the camera at a distance that avoids disturbing wildlife while maintaining sufficient detail; test night vision performance before extended monitoring and use weather-protective placement to minimize exposure to heavy rain or direct sunlight. Regularly back up recorded footage from the memory card and ensure power supply is adequate for the planned recording duration.
