Edding 5000 Acrylic Marker Broad permanentmarker beitelpunt zwart

The Edding 5000 Acrylic Marker Broad permanent marker Chisel tip Black is a versatile acrylic marker with a 5–10 mm wide chisel nib designed for expressive artwork and broad strokes. The marker contains highly pigmented, lightfast and permanent acrylic paint suitable for colouring larger areas, creating textured strokes or writing finer lettering using the thin edge of the nib. The black colour offers strong visibility and durability on various surfaces including paper, wood and metal.

Advantages

The acrylic ink is permanent, highly pigmented and lightfast, providing durable coverage. The chisel tip supports both broad fills and finer lines by using different edges of the nib. Available in a coordinated 26-colour palette with opaque, semi-opaque and transparent coverage options, the marker is suitable for a range of painting techniques and pairs with other edding products such as the 5200 permanent sprays.

Suitable for

• Filling and colouring larger areas on paper, cardboard and canvas
• Creating bold strokes and textured brush-like effects
• Marking and writing on wood, metal and other non-porous surfaces
• Mixed-media artwork and craft projects

How to use

Shake the marker well before use to mix the acrylic paint. Press the nib down briefly on a scrap surface to activate the flow. Use the broad face of the chisel tip for filling large areas and the thin edge for finer lines or lettering. Replace the cap after use to prevent drying. For non-porous surfaces, test on a small area first to confirm adhesion and coverage.

Recommendations

Store horizontally or with the cap tightly closed. For best results on porous surfaces, allow layers to dry between applications. Clean up wet paint with a suitable solvent; once dry the acrylic paint is permanent.
