Educatieve entertainmentsrobot 4M 4M-03446 voor kinderen vanaf 8 jaar, batterijgevoed, DIY-bouwset

4M 4M-03446 is an educational entertainment robot kit designed for children aged 8 and older. This battery-powered DIY assembly project lets young users build a small mobile robot that performs a specific repetitive task: stacking dominos automatically. The kit introduces basic mechanical and electronic concepts through hands-on construction and operation, making it suitable for classroom STEM activities or home learning projects.

Advantages

The kit combines construction and play, enabling children to learn about gears, simple motors, linkages and battery-powered circuits while completing a tangible task. Assembly encourages fine motor skills, following instructions and problem-solving. Once built, the mobile robot consistently positions and stacks dominos, demonstrating real-world cause-and-effect and offering repeatable, observable results during experiments or demonstrations.

Suitable for

• STEM classroom activities for primary and middle school students
• Home projects to develop mechanical and basic electronics understanding
• Hands-on learning sessions focused on gears, motors and mechanisms
• Demonstrations of automated repetitive tasks and cause-effect learning

Key specifications

• Recommended age: 8 years and older
• Power source: replaceable batteries (battery type specified in manual)
• Assembly type: DIY kit with parts and illustrated instructions
• Primary functions: mobile robot for stacking dominos automatically
• Materials: plastic components with motor and mechanical linkages
• Learning focus: basic mechanics, simple electronics and assembly skills

How to use

Follow the included illustrated instructions to assemble the robot step by step, identifying and fitting each mechanical component and connecting the motor assembly to the battery compartment. After assembly, insert the recommended batteries, place a line of dominos within the robot's operating path and start the unit to observe how it travels and positions dominos automatically. Test runs and small adjustments to domino spacing or robot alignment may be needed to achieve consistent results.

Recommendations

Supervise assembly for younger children and ensure batteries are inserted according to the polarity markings. Use on a flat, stable surface free of loose debris for reliable domino stacking. Keep small parts away from children under the recommended age and follow the manual for maintenance and safe handling of the motor and battery compartment.
