AV-repeater ATEN VC881-AT-G 4K HDMI/DVI naar HDMI converter met audio

The ATEN VC881-AT-G is a compact 4K HDMI/DVI to HDMI converter with audio de-embedding. It accepts HDMI or DVI input and outputs an HDMI signal while optionally extracting embedded HDMI audio. The unit supports video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels, complies with HDCP 1.4, and is powered by a 5V adapter. Its small footprint (202 mm x 84.9 mm x 25 mm) and lightweight design make it suitable for integration into AV setups that require reliable signal conversion and audio extraction.

Advantages

The device converts DVI to HDMI and can also pass through HDMI while de-embedding audio for separate audio routing. It supports 4K video resolution (3840 x 2160) and HDCP 1.4 compliance for protected content. The compact form factor and low typical power consumption (about 1.767 W) simplify installation in constrained spaces. Included in the package are the VC881 unit, a compatible 5V power adapter, and user instructions.

Suitable for

• Converting DVI sources to HDMI displays
• Extracting embedded HDMI audio for external audio systems
• AV installations requiring 4K signal conversion and limited space

If audio de-embedding is required, connect the de-embedded audio output from the unit to your external audio device. Plug in the supplied 5V power adapter and power the unit. The converter will handle signal conversion and, when applicable, separate the HDMI audio for external use.

Recommendations

For best results use high-quality HDMI cables and ensure the total cable length does not exceed the specified maximum transfer distance. Verify HDCP compatibility between source and display when playing protected content.
