EFB DIN-rail verdeelbox OM4, 12x LC-pigtail, 6x LC-duplex koppeling, lichtgrijs

Managing fiber optic connections in industrial control cabinets often means dealing with fragile pigtails, tangled patch cords, and a lack of proper strain relief. The EFB DIN Rail Distribution Box OM4 solves this by providing a rugged, organized termination point that mounts directly onto standard TS35 DIN rails. It combines 12 pre-installed LC pigtails with 6 LC-Duplex couplers, enabling clean and reliable patching in space-constrained environments.

Who is it for

This distribution box is built for network installers, system integrators, and maintenance teams working in industrial automation, building management, and IT infrastructure. It is ideal for anyone who needs to terminate multimode OM4 fiber runs inside electrical enclosures, control panels, or equipment racks where DIN rail mounting is preferred.

Main features

• 12 factory-terminated LC pigtails, each 2 m long with 0.9 mm tight-buffered fiber, color-coded per EIA/TIA-598.
• 6 LC-Duplex adapters pre-installed on the front panel for quick patch cord connections.
• Integrated splice holder supports up to 12 splices using crimp or heat-shrink protectors.
• Robust housing made of powder-coated steel sheet in light grey (RAL 7035), providing durability and a professional appearance.
• Two M20 cable glands on the bottom for secure entry of incoming fiber cables, maintaining IP20 protection.
• Compact design for DIN rail (TS35) mounting, saving valuable cabinet space.

Tips

When installing, ensure the incoming fiber cable is properly secured with the M20 glands to maintain strain relief. Use color-coded pigtails to match your fiber sequence and keep documentation for easy troubleshooting. For best performance, clean all LC connectors before mating and use OM4-rated patch cords for end-to-end compatibility.
