EFB U-DQ(ZN)BH OS2 24E (2x12) Eca 3000N LSZH zwart 8mm G657A1

For installations that demand both indoor flexibility and outdoor resilience, the EFB U-DQ(ZN)BH OS2 24E cable eliminates the need for separate cable types. Its dry loose-tube construction and non-metallic strain relief keep it lightweight and gel-free, while the 3000 N tensile strength and UV-resistant LSZH sheath ensure it survives tough pulls and exposure. With 24 bend-insensitive G657.A1 fibers arranged in two 12-fiber tubes, this cable delivers high-density single-mode performance in a compact 8 mm diameter.

Highlights

• 24 OS2 single-mode fibers, bend-insensitive per ITU-T G.657.A1
• Loose tube design with 2 tubes × 12 fibers for easy identification and routing
• Dry water-blocking: no gel, faster and cleaner termination
• LSZH black sheath: low smoke, zero halogen, UV-resistant
• CPR Euroclass Eca for fire performance (EN 50575)
• High tensile strength: 3000 N for demanding installations
• Compact 8 mm outer diameter fits standard ducts and trays
• Universal indoor/outdoor application

In daily use

This cable is built for backbone and campus networks where a single run may pass through riser shafts, cable trays, and outdoor conduits. The bend-insensitive fibers reduce attenuation loss even when the cable is bent tightly during installation, and the dry construction means no messy gel to clean off during splicing or connectorization. The black LSZH jacket resists UV degradation and emits minimal smoke and toxic fumes in case of fire, making it suitable for public buildings and industrial environments.
