EFB Elektronik MPO-PLUS APC female naar MPO-PLUS APC female OS2 8-vezel type B LSZH gele patchkabel, 1 m MPOF8MPOFOS2-1

In high-density data centers, network engineers rely on this EFB Elektronik MPO-PLUS patch cable to link parallel optics transceivers with precision. The 1-meter OS2 single-mode cable carries 8 fibers in a Type B polarity arrangement, terminated with MPO-PLUS APC female connectors on both ends. The yellow LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic emissions in case of fire, making it suitable for enclosed racks and raised floors.

Why choose it

The MPO-PLUS connector design offers improved optical performance and mechanical stability. APC polish minimizes back reflections, critical for high-speed parallel optics. LSZH jacket meets strict fire safety requirements in data center environments.

Ideal use cases

• 40G and 100G parallel optics links (e.g., QSFP+ to QSFP+)
• High-density fiber patching in data centers
• Storage area networks (SAN) and local area networks (LAN)
• Backbone connections between switches and patch panels

Good to know

Type B polarity is the most common for MPO trunk cables, using a key-up to key-up configuration. The cable is factory terminated and tested to ensure consistent performance. For best results, pair with MPO-PLUS adapters and cassettes.
