EFB Elektronik MPO-PLUS (F) naar LC duplex trunk-kabel, OM4, 12 fibers, type B, LSZH, Erika Violet, 3 m MPOF12LCOM4-3

Data center technicians deploying high-density 100 Gbps links will appreciate this MPO-PLUS (female) to LC duplex trunk cable. It consolidates 12 OM4 multimode fibers into a single 3 m run, terminating in one MPO-PLUS female connector and six LC duplex connectors. The Type B polarity ensures correct transmit/receive alignment in parallel optics. The LSZH jacket in Erika violet provides low smoke and halogen-free protection in confined spaces.

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM4 multimode, 12 fibers
• Connector A: MPO-PLUS female
• Connector B: 6x LC duplex
• Polarity: Type B
• Length: 3 m
• Jacket material: LSZH
• Jacket colour: Erika violet
• Insertion loss: < 0.35 dB (MPO), < 0.25 dB (LC)
• Return loss: > 20 dB (both connectors)
• Operating temperature: -10 °C to 70 °C

Why choose it

The MPO-PLUS connector offers improved performance and reliability compared to standard MPO, with lower insertion loss and better return loss. The 12-fiber design supports 100 Gbps parallel optics or multiple lower-speed links, maximizing port density in patch panels and switches. The LSZH jacket meets stringent fire safety requirements for data centers and enterprise cabling.

Ideal use cases

• Data center spine-leaf interconnects
• High-density fiber patching in racks
• 100GBASE-SR4 parallel optic links
• Enterprise backbone cabling

Good to know

The cable is compliant with IEC 60794-2 and TIA/EIA-568.3-D standards. The Erika violet colour is often used for OM4 identification. For proper polarity, ensure the MPO and LC connectors are mated according to the Type B scheme.
