EFB Elektronik MPOF12LCOS2-5 MPO/APC(F) naar LC Trunk-kabel OS2 12 vezels type B LSZH geel 5m

In high-density data centers, network engineers often need to connect MPO-based backbone cabling to LC-equipped switches or patch panels. The EFB Elektronik MPOF12LCOS2-5 trunk cable provides a reliable 5-meter link, featuring a female MPO/APC connector on one end and six LC duplex connectors on the other. With 12 single-mode OS2 fibers in a Type B polarity arrangement, this cable supports parallel optics and high-speed data transmission.

Why choose it

This trunk cable simplifies MPO to LC connectivity, reducing cable clutter and installation time. The LSZH jacket ensures low smoke and toxicity in case of fire, making it suitable for enclosed spaces. The APC polish on the MPO connector minimizes back reflections, critical for high-speed single-mode links.

Ideal use cases

• Data center backbone to access switch connections
• High-density fiber patching in SAN and LAN environments
• Telecommunications infrastructure requiring MPO to LC breakout

Good to know

The cable is 5 meters long, ideal for short to medium distance runs within racks or between adjacent cabinets. The Type B polarity ensures proper fiber mapping for standard transceiver configurations.
