EFB Elektronik MPOF8MPOFOS2-3 MPO-PLUS APC bus naar MPO-PLUS APC bus OS2 singlemode 8-vezels type B LSZH geel patchkabel, 3 m

With a return loss of ≥60 dB and insertion loss ≤0.35 dB, this 3 m OS2 singlemode patch cable delivers exceptional signal integrity for high-density fiber links. It features MPO-PLUS APC female connectors on both ends, supporting 8 fibers with Type B polarity, and a yellow LSZH jacket for safety in indoor environments.

Overview

The EFB Elektronik MPOF8MPOFOS2-3 is a factory-terminated MPO patch cable designed for 40G and 100G parallel optics applications. It uses MPO-PLUS connectors with angled physical contact (APC) polish to minimize back reflections, making it suitable for singlemode systems operating at 1310 nm and 1550 nm. The cable contains 8 fibers in a Type B polarity configuration, ensuring correct transmit/receive mapping when used with standard MPO cassettes and transceivers. The low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket is yellow for easy identification of singlemode fiber and meets strict fire safety requirements for data centers and enterprise cabling.

What stands out

• MPO-PLUS APC connectors with female gender on both ends for high-density patching
• OS2 singlemode fiber supports long-distance transmission at 1310 nm and 1550 nm
• Type B polarity for straightforward deployment in parallel optic links
• LSZH yellow jacket reduces toxic smoke and corrosive gases in case of fire
• Compact 3.0 mm diameter cable for efficient cable management
