Netwerkkabel M-Cab EC020200309 RJ-45 Cat8.1 20 m zwart

The M-Cab EC020200309 RJ-45 Cat8.1 20 m Black networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding network environments. Compliant with the Cat8.1 standard, it supports very high data transfer rates and is fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors. The cable features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and its 20 m length provides flexibility for linking equipment across rooms or within server cabinets. The black jacket offers a discreet, professional appearance suitable for residential, office, or data centre installations.

Advantages

The cable supports data transfer speeds up to 40000 Mbit/s under Cat8.1 specifications and uses S/FTP shielding to maintain signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The 20 m length allows longer runs without intermediate patching, and the black outer sheath resists visible wear while integrating into diverse setups.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links between switches, routers and servers
• Structured cabling in offices and server rooms
• High-bandwidth applications such as virtualization and large file transfers
• Connections in environments with potential electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat8.1
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Length: 20 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Black

How to use

Route the cable between the two network ports to be connected, avoiding sharp bends and tight loops that could stress the internal pairs. Ensure each RJ-45 connector is fully inserted into the device port until it clicks. For best performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as power transformers or unshielded power cables. When terminating in structured cabling panels or patch panels, verify secure seating of connectors and maintain proper bend radius as specified by installation guidelines.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable for point-to-point connections in local area networks, data centres and professional AV setups. Avoid running the cable bundled in large groups with unshielded power wiring; if longer or different routing is required, consider intermediate patching or professionally rated installation hardware.
