The EIZO FlexScan EV4340X-BK is a 42.5 inch 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) LED monitor designed for professional environments such as control rooms, trading floors and monitoring centres. Its IPS panel delivers wide 178° viewing angles and a 5 ms response time. The monitor includes built-in speakers, a USB hub and supports VESA mounting. Slim black housing and full USB-C docking make it suitable for multi-screen setups and flexible installations.

Advantages

The monitor offers true 4K resolution that provides four times the pixel information of Full HD, enabling detailed simultaneous display of multiple sources. Full USB-C docking supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, video, audio and USB data transmission plus up to 94 W power delivery. Multi-source handling is simplified via Picture-by-Picture (PbP) for up to four signals and Picture-in-Picture (PiP) for two signals. An integrated KVM switch allows one keyboard and mouse to control two connected computers. Front-panel controls and the supplied remote control permit operation from the device or at a distance, and the slim design eases grouping in multi-screen installations.

Suitable for

Control rooms and control centres
Trading floors and financial desks
Network and operations monitoring
Meeting rooms and presentation setups

How to use

Connect source devices via USB-C, DisplayPort or HDMI inputs. Use the USB-C port for single-cable docking of compatible laptops to carry video, audio, USB data and provide up to 94 W power. Configure multi-source display using the PbP or PiP functions and select one of the 12 layout options with the front button or remote control. To share control between two computers, enable the integrated KVM switch and connect the keyboard and mouse to the monitor's USB hub.

Recommendations

For wall mounting or dense multi-screen arrangements, operate the monitor via the supplied remote control when front-panel buttons are inaccessible. Use PbP for concurrent monitoring of multiple feeds and PiP for presentations where a primary source must remain prominent.
