Elektrische heggenschaar Wolf-Garten Lycos E 420 H 420W, model 41AE4HH-650

The Wolf-Garten Lycos E 420 H electric hedge trimmer with a 420W motor is a corded tool for routine trimming and shaping of hedges and shrubs. Designed for domestic garden maintenance, it offers consistent cutting performance in a compact, electrically powered format that requires less upkeep than petrol alternatives. The tool is suitable for users who need a reliable, low-noise solution for frequent pruning of small to medium hedges and garden shrubs.

Advantages

The electric drive delivers steady power and predictable cutting results while producing lower vibration and noise compared with petrol models. Its compact design and balanced weight distribution make the trimmer easier to manoeuvre along fence lines and around garden features. The single-piece blade provides even cutting along the entire length, and the corded power supply ensures uninterrupted operation for extended trimming sessions without battery swaps.

Suitable for

• Shaping and trimming small to medium-height hedges
• Maintaining garden shrubs and decorative bushes
• Regular pruning tasks around homes and allotments
• Users preferring electric tools for lower maintenance and emissions

Key specifications

• Motor power: 420 W
• Power source: corded electric
• Intended use: trimming and shaping hedges and shrubs

How to use

Connect the trimmer to a suitable outdoor-rated extension cord and a grounded power outlet. Hold the tool with both hands, one on the front handle and the other on the rear handle with the trigger, keeping the cutting blade clear of body and clothing. Guide the blade along the hedge at a steady pace, using smooth, sweeping motions to achieve an even cut. For vertical cuts or shaping, work from the bottom upward or follow the hedge’s natural profile. Switch off and disconnect the power before cleaning the blade, performing maintenance, or clearing blockages.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves, eye protection and sturdy footwear. Avoid operating in wet conditions, and ensure the extension cord and outlet are rated for outdoor use. Regularly inspect and, if necessary, clean the blade to maintain cutting efficiency and prolong tool life.
