Elektrische schaaf Bosch GHO 18V-26 18,0 V (los apparaat, zonder accu)

The Bosch GHO 18V-26 is a cordless electric planer supplied as a tool-only unit without a battery. Operating on the Bosch 18.0 V system, this planer is designed for planing and smoothing timber surfaces where mains power is unavailable. Its compact, battery-powered design provides mobility on job sites and enables precise trimming of doors, leveling of panels and finish carpentry tasks with the convenience of the Bosch 18 V battery platform.

Advantages

The cordless construction eliminates the need for extension cords, increasing flexibility when working in confined or remote locations. The planer’s steady cutting performance and adjustable cutting depth support precise material removal and consistent surface quality. Compatibility with the Bosch 18 V battery ecosystem lets users share batteries across tools, reducing downtime and simplifying site logistics.

Suitable for

• Trimming and fitting door edges and frames
• Leveling and smoothing wood panels and boards
• Finish carpentry and on-site woodworking adjustments
• Small to medium remodeling and repair tasks

Key specifications

• Power source: cordless, 18.0 V platform (battery sold separately)
• Intended use: planing and smoothing wood surfaces
• Form factor: handheld electric planer
• Portability: battery-powered for remote and job-site use
• Adjustability: manual cutting depth adjustment for precise material removal

How to use

Install a compatible Bosch 18 V battery (sold separately) and secure it according to the tool’s attachment mechanism. Set the required cutting depth before starting and test on a scrap piece to confirm settings. Hold the planer firmly with both hands, engage the motor, and move the tool along the wood grain at a steady pace to achieve an even surface. Make multiple light passes rather than heavy cuts for better control and finish quality. Follow Bosch safety guidance and wear appropriate personal protective equipment while operating the tool.

Recommendations

Use the planer with batteries that have sufficient charge and recommended capacity to maintain consistent cutting performance. For best results when finishing visible edges, perform final passes with minimal depth and light pressure. Regularly inspect and replace blades as needed to preserve cutting quality, and keep the sole plate clean to avoid surface marks.
