Envelop MAILmedia 221500 DIN lang wit 80 g/m², zijdenvoering, natte gomming

MAILmedia 221500 DIN long white envelope is manufactured from 80 g/m² paper and features a silk lining with a wet adhesive closure. The envelope is sized for DIN long documents and provides a smooth interior surface to protect contents during handling and transit. The wet gum flap ensures a reliable seal after moistening and is compatible with standard mailing processes used in offices and bulk mailing operations.

Advantages

The combination of 80 g/m² paper and a silk lining gives a balanced mix of stiffness and internal cushioning that reduces abrasion and keeps documents flat. The white exterior offers a neutral, professional appearance suitable for business correspondence. The wet adhesive closure provides a tamper-evident seal once moistened, and the DIN long format accommodates invoices, folded A4 sheets and other standard long documents without excessive folding.

Suitable for

• Office and administrative mailing of invoices and statements
• Business correspondence and formal letters in DIN long format
• Bulk mailing and mailroom processing
• Storage or transport of certificates and folded A4 documents

Key specifications

• Material: paper, 80 g/m²
• Interior: silk lining for smooth surface and added protection
• Closure: wet adhesive (moisten-to-seal) flap
• Color: white exterior
• Format: DIN long (suitable for folded A4 and similar documents)

How to use

Insert documents folded to DIN long format, ensuring edges align to avoid creasing. Moisten the adhesive strip on the flap evenly and press the flap down along the full width to form a consistent seal. Allow the adhesive to set briefly before stacking or placing in postal trays to prevent accidental reopening. For bulk preparations, use a moistening machine compatible with wet adhesive envelopes to speed up processing and ensure consistent sealing.

Recommendations for use

Store envelopes flat in a dry environment away from direct sunlight and high humidity to maintain adhesive performance and paper integrity. When sending important documents, confirm local postal regulations for thickness and weight limits for DIN long envelopes to ensure correct postage.
