Epson EB-L690SU kortafstandprojector 6200 ANSI lumen 3LCD WUXGA (1920x1200) wit

The Epson EB-L690SU Short throw projector delivers high-brightness WUXGA images using 3LCD technology and a long-life laser light source. With 6200 ANSI lumens output and native WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution, it reproduces detailed, color-accurate content in environments with ambient light. The short throw optical design and adjustable focal length (11.6–19.9 mm) enable large images from a short distance, while the compact white chassis and 8.9 kg weight support flexible installation in meeting rooms, classrooms, and public spaces.

Advantages

This projector combines high luminous output with 3LCD image processing to maintain color balance and reduce rainbow artifacts. The laser light source provides extended lifespan up to 20,000 hours in normal mode and up to 30,000 hours in economic mode, reducing maintenance and lamp replacement costs. Short throw optics allow placement close to the projection surface, minimizing shadows and presenter glare. Manual focus and a range of focal lengths support precise image alignment and scalable screen sizes, while the white housing integrates discreetly into bright interiors.

Suitable for

• Medium to large meeting rooms and lecture halls
• Classrooms and training facilities requiring bright, detailed visuals
• Retail displays and digital signage in well-lit areas
• Conference centers and event spaces with short-throw installation needs

How to use

Place the projector at the recommended short-throw distance from the screen or wall according to the desired image size and the focal length range. Connect input sources using the projector’s available video and control interfaces, then power on and allow the laser light source to initialize. Use the manual focus adjustment to achieve sharp image detail and adjust projector settings for color mode and brightness to match ambient lighting. Secure mounting options can be used for ceiling or wall installation; ensure proper ventilation clearance around the unit.

Recommendations

For best image uniformity and longevity, operate the projector in economic mode when maximum brightness is not required, and schedule periodic dust-checks of installation areas. Position the projector to minimize direct light on presenters and to reduce shadowing on the screen. Use the projector’s color mode presets to match content types (presentations, video, signage) and calibrate white balance if accurate color reproduction is critical.
