Key specifications

• Sensor type: Passive Infrared (PIR) motion detection
• Mounting options: Ceiling and wall mounting
• Housing color: White
• Connection: Wireless integration with Homematic IP system
• Installation: Includes mounting brackets for easy installation

How to use

Mount the sensor on a ceiling or wall using the supplied brackets, choosing a position with an unobstructed view of the monitored area. Pair the device with your Homematic IP central unit or app according to the manufacturer's pairing procedure. After pairing, configure detection zones, automation rules and response behaviors in the Homematic IP app to control lights, alarms or other devices based on motion detection. Test the sensor after installation to confirm correct detection range and orientation.

Recommendations

Install the sensor at a recommended height and angle to avoid direct exposure to heating sources, air vents or reflective surfaces that can reduce detection reliability. For optimal results, avoid mounting behind glass or metal objects and perform a walk test after configuration to verify coverage.
