Equip 404537 netwerkkabel, grijs, 305 m, Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

EQUIP 404537 is a Cat6 U/UTP networking cable supplied on a 305 m spool in grey. It is an unshielded cable designed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet and provides Gigabit-capable performance for structured cabling in offices, data centers and horizontal or backbone links. The cable comes without pre-attached connectors, allowing custom termination to match installation requirements.

Advantages

The Cat6 U/UTP construction offers reliable unshielded performance for Gigabit Ethernet applications while keeping installation simple. A 305 m spool reduces joins for long cable runs and the neutral grey colour is suitable for standard network installations. Compatibility with Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows delivery of both data and power over the same cable when used with appropriate equipment.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in offices and commercial buildings
• Horizontal links between switches and wall outlets
• Backbone runs in small to medium data closets or server rooms
• Installations requiring custom connector termination

Key specifications

• Length: 305 m
• Type: Cat6 U/UTP (unshielded)
• Supported standard: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Connectors: none (no pre-attached connectors)
• Color: Grey
• Weight: 12.5 kg

How to use

Measure and cut the required cable length from the 305 m spool, strip the outer sheath and separate the twisted pairs. Terminate the cable with appropriate RJ45 connectors or patch panels following Cat6 wiring standards (T568A or T568B). Test each terminated link for continuity, pair integrity and Gigabit performance before finalising the installation. Use proper cable management and adhere to bend radius and maximum run length recommendations for reliable operation.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat6 U/UTP cable with compatible PoE-capable switches or injectors if powering devices over Ethernet. Maintain correct separation from strong electrical sources and follow local cabling standards when performing terminations and routing.
