Equip Cat.6 S/FTP patchkabel RJ-45 50m zwart

The Equip Cat.6 S/FTP patch cable is a 50 m network cable designed for reliable data transmission in home and office environments. It features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and dual RJ-45 connectors for compatibility with standard network equipment. The cable’s Cat.6 specification supports higher bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin for stable performance in demanding network setups.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall shield with individually shielded pairs to provide enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference. As a Cat.6 cable, it offers increased bandwidth and lower error rates compared with lower-category cables, while the 50 m length allows flexible installation across rooms or office areas. RJ-45 terminations ensure broad device compatibility.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in homes and offices
• Network infrastructure requiring reduced electromagnetic interference
• Connecting switches, routers, patch panels, and networked devices

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 50 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Color: Black
• Weight: approximately 1.2606 kg

How to use

Route the cable between network devices, avoiding tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding ports on switches, routers, patch panels or networked devices. Secure the cable with cable ties or clips as needed to prevent strain on the connectors and maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the cable length within recommended channel limits for Cat.6 installations and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines. Test connections with a network tester after installation to verify continuity and shielding effectiveness.
