Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP-patchkabel, 20 m, blauw

The Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP Patch Cable (20 m, blue) is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission up to 10000 Mbit/s. Constructed from quality materials and tested to industry standards, this Cat.6A cable with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provides improved bandwidth and signal-to-noise margin for stable 10GBase-T performance in demanding network environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting clearer signal transmission over longer runs. The Cat.6A specification enables ultrahigh throughput suitable for 10G applications, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact and corrosion resistance. The 20 m length offers flexibility for office or home layouts and the blue jacket provides easy visual identification in cable bundles.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T networks and high-bandwidth LAN connections
• Server rooms, data centers, and network closets
• Office and home network installations requiring long cable runs

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the Ethernet port of your network device (switch, router, or network card) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinching, or sources of strong electromagnetic interference for optimum performance.

Recommendations

For best 10G performance, use in combination with compatible Cat6A-rated patch panels, switches, and NICs. Avoid kinking the cable and maintain bend radius recommended by the manufacturer; keep power cables separated to minimise interference.
