Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP patchkabel, zwart, 2,0 m, 10 stuks/set

The Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP RJ-45 2.0m black patch cable is designed for high-speed data transfer up to 10,000 Mbit/s. Constructed from quality materials and tested to meet Cat.6A standards, the S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and provides improved signal-to-noise margin for stable performance in demanding network environments. The cable has RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a 2.0 m length suitable for typical workstation and patch panel connections.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding on the Equip Cat.6A Platinum cable offers enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference, enabling reliable 10GBase-T performance. The Cat.6A specification ensures higher bandwidth and a lower error rate compared with lower-category cables. The 2.0 m length and standardized RJ-45 connectors make the cable compatible with a wide range of networking devices while the black jacket provides a neutral, professional appearance.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T connections in data centers and server rooms
• High-speed office LAN and desktop connections
• Patch panels and network switches
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T (Cat.6A, S/FTP)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Product colour: Black
• Weight: 0.1 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (switch, router or network interface) and the other to the target device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted to obtain a secure link. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and strong electromagnetic sources to maintain signal integrity. For installations requiring fixed cable runs, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal 10G performance, use the Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP cable for links up to its specified length and avoid bundling with high-power electrical cables; if longer runs are required, verify link budget and installation standards before deployment.
