Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP RJ-45 15 m rood patchkabel

The Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP RJ-45 15m Red patch cable is a 15 metre network cable designed for high-speed data transmission up to 10 000 Mbit/s (10GBase-T). It uses S/FTP shielding (overall foil plus individually shielded pairs) and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure stable connections and improved protection against electromagnetic interference. The cable’s red jacket helps quick visual identification in structured cabling installations.

Advantages

The Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP construction provides higher bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables, supporting reliable 10G performance in demanding network environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors reduce contact resistance and support consistent throughput. The 15 m length offers flexibility for connecting equipment across racks, workstations or network devices without additional couplers.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T network links and high-speed LAN connections
• Server rooms, data centres and network cabinets
• Workstation and office cabling where interference protection is required
• Structured cabling installations that need colour-coded identification

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Category: Cat.6A (10GBase-T)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10 000 Mbit/s (10 Gbps)
• Colour: Red
• Weight: 0.564 kg

How to use

Plug the gold-plated RJ-45 connector into the corresponding RJ-45 port on your network device and the other end into the switch, router or patch panel port. Ensure connectors click into place for a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable neatly to avoid tight bends and maintain the recommended bend radius for Cat.6A cables. For permanent installations, use appropriate cable management such as cable ties and patch panels to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6A S/FTP cable in shielded or grounded installations where possible, avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines, and keep cable bends gentle to preserve 10G signal integrity.
