Equip DisplayPort 1.2-kabel, 10 m, 4K/60Hz

The Equip DisplayPort 1.2 Cable 10m 4K/60Hz is a 10-metre digital audio-video cable with DisplayPort connectors on both ends, designed for linking computers to monitors, projectors or home-theater systems. Compliant with RoHS standards, it supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz and is intended to replace older interfaces such as VGA and DVI while providing higher color depth and refresh rate over a single cable.

Advantages

This DisplayPort 1.2 cable offers 4K/60Hz video support across a 10 m length, simple two-ended DisplayPort connectivity, and a compact black design for unobtrusive installation. The cable complies with RoHS, ensuring reduced hazardous substances, and delivers improved image quality and refresh rates compared with legacy analogue and early digital interfaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop or laptop computers to DisplayPort-equipped monitors
• Linking computers to projectors for presentations or events
• Integrating PCs with home-theatre receivers or displays that accept DisplayPort
• Setups requiring up to 4K resolution at 60Hz over a longer cable run (10 m)

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Standard: DisplayPort 1.2
• Maximum supported resolution: 3840 x 2160 (4K) at 60Hz
• Connectors: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Product colour: Black

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the DisplayPort output on your computer and the other to the DisplayPort input on the monitor, projector or home-theatre device. After connecting, set the display resolution and refresh rate in the operating system or display settings to 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz if supported by both devices. Ensure both devices are powered on and, if necessary, select the correct input source on the display.

Recommendations

For reliable 4K/60Hz performance over 10 m, use the cable with devices that explicitly support DisplayPort 1.2 or higher. Avoid sharp bends and heavy kinks in the cable, and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources to preserve signal integrity.
