Place equipment or accessories on the shelf ensuring weight is distributed evenly and does not exceed the mechanical limits of the rack or mounting hardware. Regularly check fastenings and load distribution during routine maintenance.

Recommendations

Use the Equip EZFS-19-2-80-G shelf for non-ventilated or passively cooled items and accessories. Avoid placing heavy, concentrated loads beyond the general capacity of a 2U fixed shelf and verify that the overall rack load and mounting hardware are rated for the applied weight. If equipment requires active cooling or front-to-back airflow, consider using purpose-built ventilated shelves or rackmount chassis instead.
