Ethernet-adapter ASUS USB-C2500 V2 bekabeld USB-connectiviteit

The ASUS USB-C2500 V2 is a wired USB-C Ethernet adapter that delivers up to 2.5Gbps wired network speed for devices without built-in Ethernet ports. Compatible with USB-C hosts and major operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux, it offers a compact, palm-sized form factor in black with a built-in 10 cm cable for easy portability and instant wired connectivity.

Advantages

This adapter provides up to 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet performance—2.5x faster than standard Gigabit adapters—while maintaining stable and seamless connectivity. Its plug-and-play operation on supported systems eliminates the need for drivers in many cases, and intuitive LED indicators give real-time network status. The small, lightweight design is convenient for travel and remote work, and it works with Cat5e or higher cables to achieve optimal 2.5Gbps throughput.

Suitable for

• Upgrading laptops and ultrabooks that lack an Ethernet port
• Connecting desktops or NAS devices to faster wired networks
• Remote work, video streaming, and online gaming where wired stability is required
• File transfers and backups that benefit from higher throughput

How to use

Connect the USB-C connector to a compatible USB-C port on your laptop, desktop, or NAS. Plug an Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher recommended for 2.5Gbps) into the adapter’s RJ45 port and into your router, switch, or modem. On supported operating systems the adapter will typically work immediately; if required, install vendor drivers following the instructions provided by the system or Asus. Check the adapter’s LEDs to verify link and activity status.

Recommendations

To achieve the best 2.5Gbps performance, use Cat5e or higher Ethernet cables and connect to network equipment that supports 2.5 Gigabit speeds. Keep the adapter and cable free from sharp bends and avoid excessive strain on the built-in cable to prolong product life.
