Etiketteerlipjes AVERY 74788 beschrijfbaar polyester 25,4 x 38 mm, zelfklevend

Writable polyester labeling tabs AVERY 74788, size 25.4 x 38 mm, are self-adhesive tabs designed for durable, legible identification in filing systems, binders and office folders. The tear-resistant polyester surface accepts handwriting with most pens and is compatible with a range of label printers. These tabs provide a slim, unobtrusive profile while offering long-lasting adhesion and clear edge definition for easy retrieval of documents and archived materials.

Advantages

These self-adhesive polyester tabs combine surface durability and writable properties to ensure labels remain legible over time. The polyester material resists tearing, moisture and frequent handling, while the adhesive backing secures the tab to paper, cardboard and plastic folders. The standardized 25.4 x 38 mm size fits common filing tabs and provides sufficient space for short text, dates or codes without adding bulk.

Suitable for

• Organizing office filing systems and archive folders
• Labeling ring binders, dividers and index tabs
• Short-term and long-term document identification
• Storage boxes, project folders and inventory tabs

Key specifications

• Material: writable polyester for tear resistance and moisture tolerance
• Dimensions: 25.4 x 38 mm per tab
• Self-adhesive backing suitable for paper and many plastics
• Writable with most ballpoint pens, permanent markers and compatible with many label printers
• Thin profile for minimal added thickness to documents and binders

How to use

Peel a tab from the backing and press the adhesive side firmly onto the chosen document edge, folder or binder divider. Write directly on the polyester surface once the adhesive is secured; allow ink from markers to dry briefly to avoid smudging. For printer use, verify compatibility with your printer model and feeding method before a full run. Apply tabs to clean, dry surfaces for best adhesion and avoid placing over heavily textured areas.

Recommendations

For lasting results, store tabs flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Test a sample tab if using a new pen or printer to confirm ink adhesion and legibility. When labeling archives, include date or category codes to aid retrieval and consider using color-coded folders together with these writable polyester tabs for improved organization.
