How to use

Position the AF-180 DMX where airflow is required, ensuring the unit is securely mounted or placed on a stable surface. Connect to a DMX controller or use local control if available; configure channels according to the lighting/effects desk documentation to set fan speed and timing. When used with fog or haze, aim the outlet toward the desired dispersion area and adjust intensity to achieve the visual effect without overpowering performers or equipment. Observe standard safety clearances from heat-sensitive materials and avoid obstructing the intake or outlet.

Recommendations

For consistent results in shows, preprogram fan cues into your DMX scenes and test positions and intensity during rehearsals. Maintain the fan by keeping vents clear of debris and performing routine inspections of cable connections and mounting hardware. Use in well-ventilated spaces and follow venue safety guidelines when combining with pyrotechnics or other special effects.
